A senior HR and employment expert at Thursfields Solicitors has been recognised in a prestigious index for the sector’s top experts published by a national journal.
Jade Linton, an associate director and HR business partner in the Midland law firm’s employment department, has been listed as one of the UK’s top 25 employment lawyers.
The Reward 300 2020 index is published annually by Reward Strategy magazine, the journal covering HR and payroll matters, and reflects what it describes as the 300 “leading lights” in the sector.
Ms Linton, who has more than ten years’ experience in advising and representing clients in employment matters, staff issues, employee relations law and practice, said: “I’m thrilled and honoured to have been listed. The Reward 300 index is one of the first resources HR professionals turn to when they want expert advice and guidance, and so it is an important achievement to be referenced as one of the UK’s top 25 employment lawyers.”
The Reward 300 index first began as the Payroll Top 50 in 2009, but expanded over the years to reflect the wider range of experts in payroll, reward, HR, employee benefits, workplace pensions and the associated sectors.
The index’s seven sections are: 100 payroll leaders; 50 industry luminaries; 50 leaders within knowledge and professional services; 25 pension professionals; 25 HR leaders; 25 employee benefits experts; and 25 employment lawyers.
The 300 individuals listed are chosen based on how they have shown influence in the sector, demonstrated best practice, been recognised for their work, helped to educate their peers or advocated the promotion of their profession.
Ms Linton is regularly invited to speak at employment law seminars and conferences and has been the plenary speaker at The Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals Annual General Conference for the past four years.
