Birmingham and Solihull-based independent commercial property agency KWB has let nearly 11,000 sq ft of office space on Birmingham Business Park to a financial adviser network.
Acting on behalf of Changan UK R&D Centre Ltd (CAUK), KWB’s Office Agency team let 10,815 sq ft on the ground floor at 3700 Parkside, Solihull Parkway, Birmingham Business Park, Birmingham, West Midlands, B37 7YG, on a new institutional lease to Personal Touch Financial Services.
3700 Parkside is a 21,985 sq ft office building, acquired by CAUK when it bought the Parkside estate of five office buildings in 2015 to create a bespoke UK research and development facility for parent company Changan, one of the largest automotive manufacturers in its Chinese domestic market and in the global market. CAUK occupies the first floor of 3700 Parkside. The deal with Personal Touch means that the building is fully let.
Malcolm Jones, Head of Office Agency at KWB says: “There is a shortage of office space in Solihull and along the M42 corridor, with available space at Parkside and other office buildings on Birmingham Business Park increasingly sought after by occupiers looking to either expand or to re-locate in this extremely well connected area.”
11,474 sq ft of office space, with 58 car parking spaces, remains available at the neighbouring office building of 3900 Parkside.
