Property consultancy expands in city

Independent property regeneration and development consultancy AspinallVerdi continues to expand following the relocation of its Birmingham office which serves public and private sector clients throughout the Midlands.

The consultancy has moved from The Colmore Building, 20 Colmore Circus to Somerset House, 37 Temple Street, remaining in the heart of Birmingham’s business district and following a period of significant growth, with its team covering the Midlands having doubled in size over the past year.

The team consists of director Rachel Hill, senior consultant Gabriel Timotheou and consultants Megan Jones and Molly Toon.

Rachel said: “Since opening our Birmingham office in 2022, both our team and regional client base have expanded, creating the need for a larger space. We are pleased to call Somerset House on Temple Street our new home. Our move marks an important milestone, reflecting the increasing demand for AspinallVerdi’s expertise."

Parm Dosanjh, executive director and head of AspinallVerdi’s London and Birmingham offices, said  “As a client-focused consultancy, we continue to grow our team of chartered surveyors and chartered town planners, ensuring we attract and retain top talent while expanding our range of services. Our strong financial performance across our five regional offices reflects the increasing demand for our expert, tailored development and regeneration services from public and private sector clients across the Midlands and nationwide.”

Alongside its core services, AspinallVerdi is expanding its residential development agency offer, providing disposal and acquisition services alongside strategic advice on site promotion, development partnerships, land assembly, and delivery structures.

With an increasing pipeline of residential projects, the team is well-equipped to help local authorities and developers unlock complex sites, bring forward much-needed housing, and support regeneration schemes across the Midlands.

AspinallVerdi’s Birmingham office has played a key role in supporting local plan viability studies and masterplanning projects across the Midlands, acting for a range of clients including Birmingham City Council, Coventry City Council,  Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council and The City of Wolverhampton Council.

The team’s expertise in viability, regeneration, funding and development consultancy, alongside its growing residential development agency service, allows it to provide tailored advice to both public and private sector clients, helping to unlock sustainable development across the region.

The relocation follows AspinallVerdi almost doubling the size of its head office in Leeds by relocating to 31 The Calls following growth in staff numbers and rising demand for its services from an increasing number of clients.

AspinallVerdi now employs more than 30 staff at its headquarters in Leeds and offices in London, Liverpool,  Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Birmingham.
