A bumper crop of businesses will be chasing awards glory, as the shortlist for the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) 2020 annual awards has been revealed.
Forty-one businesses and individuals have been shortlisted in eight awards categories, with the winners being revealed at the virtual event taking place on 26 November.
Award nominations for the Chamber’s annual event skyrocketed, with entries doubling from last year.
Nominations for the awards were judged by Amer Awan, from Awan International, Amanda Lowe, from Story Comms, Leyla Okhai from Diverse Minds, Professor Martin Levermore, from Medial Devices Technology International Limited (MDTi) and lawyer Dee Kundi.
Chair of the judges, Mandy Canny, head of membership at Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, said: “Our expert judging panel had a tremendously tough time this year selecting the shortlisted candidates.
“There was a huge raft of nominations to sort though, all of excellent calibre. The judges and I were really pleased to see so many businesses continuing to excel through challenging circumstances.”
