Sharon Reilly has been promoted to head of GVA’s national property management accounts team.
A chartered management accountant, Sharon has been with the PMA team for 14 years, joining the Birmingham-based commercial property consultancy as a project accountant.
Sharon will head up a national team of 130 staff handling property accounting services – including rent and service charge collection and payment for both investors and occupiers – for a range of clients across GVA’s network of 11 regional offices.
PMA is appointed on 4,000 landlord properties and 20,000 occupier sites across the country, handling circa £1.5 billion through its accounts every year.
Major clients range from professional services and property companies including RBS, Moorfield, Calthorpe Estates and Clearbell, to individual developments such as Birmingham’s Brindleyplace and London’s Salesforce Tower.
Sharon said she intends to spearhead an expansion of the services offered by the PMA team, creating a full accountancy service that will enhance their capability to clients.
She added: “My aim is to continue driving the greatest efficiency that we can for our clients, streamlining processes and adding additional value. By increasing the breadth of the services that we offer, we’re continuing our transition from property accounting to full accountancy services.”
